Since the 1990s, Winceyco has been using arts strategies to show teachers how to change the culture of their classrooms. In the Winceyco professional development training workshop for teachers, Wincey demonstrates how performing arts techniques like music, drama, and movement can be used as a vehicle to teach the core content, i.e., science, engineering, math and literacy.
Wincey Terry-Bryant is a certified business coach, resident teaching artist for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Master Teacher and Professional Development Trainer for National Wolf Trap Education, and presenter of arts assembly programs for Arts Horizons. Wincey is the author of three book and cd sets for young audiences, as well as the author of the arts integration training manual
"STEM through the Arts".
